The new TriModä 100 Series Vacuum Recloser raises the standard of recloser performance by incorporating state-of the-art vacuum interrupter technology with a long-life solenoid operated mechanism. The TriModä 100 is used in conjunction with PowerMAXä micropocessor based controls.

Joslyn Hi-Voltage has been a leader in solid dielectric insulation for over 35 years. The patented and field proven JOSLYTEä solid dielectric foam has been successfully used in other industry leading products such as the VerSaVacä and VarMasterä vacuum switches.

External, Easily Removable Current Transformers
  Safety is ensured with the externally mounted current transformers (CTs) because they are surrounded with a grounded metal cover. The metal cover can easily by removed to access or replace the CTS

  TriModä 100 Series Vacuum Recloser raises the standard of recloser performanceThe yellow handle permits mechanical opening and mechanically actuated, electrical closing on the recloser. The non-reclosing lever provides the capability of blocking reclosing after the first trip operation regardless of the number of recloses preprogrammed in the control.

All protection settings are changeable from the integrated keypad.
Increased Accuracy
  Accuracy does not change over time or with
temperature variations since it does not rely on
hydraulic controls, thus enabling better and more reliable protection coordination.
No Battery Maintenance
  The control contains only a small Lithium clock
battery for maintaining accurate time and date
stamping.
Programmable Settings
  No dip switches or additional components are required - all programming is done with the
self-explanatory keypad.
Time-Current Curves
  All traditional single-phase recloser curves plus ANSI inverse curves are selectable without the need to change any components.
Event Recording
  The most 20 recent events are time & date stamped for easy troubleshooting of problematic feeders.
Single-Phase Trip/Three-Phase Lockout
  Three-Phase Lockout The POWERMAX™ has the ability to be connected to other POWERMAX™ controls to provide single-phase tripping and three-phase lockout.
