Recloser control for use with TriMod three phase reclosers

The FaultmasterÒ 2500 Recloser Control offers a user-friendly design which allows easy programming and operations with minimal time and training. A large, backlit LCD clearly displays information, day or night. Both settings and system values are stored in non-volatile memory, so information is retained even if both power and batteries are lost. An Event Recorder stores 100 date-and-time-stamped events which make it easy to troubleshoot problematic feeders.

Programming
The front panel of the FaultmasterÒ 2500 contains a programming port designed for connection to a standard computer serial port for programming and interrogation of the control. An additional communication port allows for a permanent connection for SCADA or distribution automation. Dry contacts are also available for status commends.

Joslyn's unique "Quick View" feature allows the user to designate specific system values that can be viewed by field personnel by simply pushing the "Quick View button".

Protection
A dedicated protection microprocessor is used to ensure maximum reliability. The FaultmasterÒ 2500 contains four industry standard, time-current curves, each with 32 time dial selections: Moderately Inverse, Normal Inverse, Very Inverse, and Extremely Inverse. Other protection features:

Remote Configuration

JVRCom is a utility which allows remote configuration, monitoring, and control of the Joslyn Hi-Voltage Faultmaster 2500 Recloser.

Multi-Platform

JVRCom is a 32 bit Microsoft Windows application; it will run on Windows 95 or Windows NT. Communications to the FM2500 is through an RS-232 interface, either directly or remotely through a modem.

•	Upload, download, compare, view, edit and save to a file the setpoint values of a FM2500
•	Upload, view, and save to a file the system values of a FM2500.
•	Monitor the current status, system values, and event logs of a FM2500.
•	Remotely control the operations that are available on the FM2500 front panel.

JVRCOM - Faultmaster 2500 Communications Software

	User Interface
	JVRCom is a dialog based application. ie: all the windows in the application, including the main application window are dialogs. All flow through the application is controlled by push buttons, no menus are involved. The user interface is designed to run at all Windows desktop resolutions, from 800x600 and up. It will not run correctly on display resolutions of less than 800x600.
